DRDN - Redundancy Module
MEAN WELL Emergency Power Modules
MEAN WELL redundant modules are advanced solutions that ensure uninterrupted operation of power systems in critical applications. Their main purpose is to increase reliability by enabling operation in systems with 1+1 and N+1 redundancy, where one of the power supplies can take over the load in the event of a failure of the other. The offered modules are compatible with a wide range of voltages, ensuring versatility and reliability.
DRDN series features:
-
High reliability thanks to support for 1+1 and N+1 redundancy systems.
-
Ability to handle a wide range of voltages.
-
Compact dimensions, enabling easy installation on DIN rails.
-
MEAN WELL modules are the ideal choice for companies that want to ensure the continuity of their systems, even in situations emergency.
Application
These modules are often used in industrial and telecommunications systems, as well as in IT applications, where uninterrupted power supply is crucial for the operation of devices. DRDN is a so-called emergency power supply that, in the event of a failure of one of the power supplies, the other immediately takes over its function, which minimizes the risk of downtime. Redundancy, or emergency power supply, is necessary wherever power outages or downtime are a threat to human health and can constitute serious costs.
